Little River Community

Little River has access to popular variety shows as well as fine dining and specialty shopping. Residents also engage in an array of outdoor activities, including beach going, fishing, boating, hiking and camping. Huntington Beach State Park is within 30 miles of Little River. A variety of activities are accommodated at Huntington Beach State Park year-round. Miles of trails can be used for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking.

As the golf Mecca, far and away, the most popular activity in this region is golf. The many courses and facilities in the area provide an array of challenges and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. The River Hills course in Little River, for example, runs along Clyde River and winds through hilly, wooded regions of the countryside. Many of the local facilities have been designed by top golf architects and recognized by national publications such as Golf Digest. The Long Bay Club, an 18-hole facility, was designed by Jack Nicklaus and the Glen Dornoch course was designed by Clyde Johnson. The variations offered by these and other local courses allow golfers of all levels to work on their games almost endlessly!
